ArtsLink’s 25-26 Concert Series continues with a legendary big band! Tommy Dorsey was one of the greatest bandleaders of the Swing Era, known for his unmatched trombone skill and hits like Marie, Song of India, and I’ll Never Smile Again. Frank Sinatra joined the orchestra in early 1940, crediting Dorsey with shaping his legendary vocal technique. Sinatra stayed until September 1942, when he launched his iconic solo career.
